From the aforementioned Wired, the book version of the 'Last Lecture' is an online best-seller. If you've never seen the 'Last Lecture,' it is one of the most inspiring stories I've ever heard. Randy Pausch, a Carnegie Mellon computer science professor, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and given six months to live. The full lecture, from last September, is 1 hour 20 minutes - and completely worth it - but there's also the shortened Oprah version given after the fact. He has since outlived the six month threshold, published the book version of his lecture, and hopes to get a few more months out of life. tjc
