Apple unveiled a second generation of its iPhone, with support for faster 3G wireless networks yesterday. Not is it going to be much faster, but it's going to be much cheaper, too, with the 8 GB phone listing at $199.00. Oh, how I can't wait for July 11th! jmj

In kottke's recent edition of 'things he learned this week' he linked to a NY Times article concerning cell phone use or the lack there of in the brain surgeon community. The article pointed out that all studies showing no coorelation between cell phone use and brain tumors were short term studies, and therefore somewhat dubious. Well now it seems that a massive long term study is finally underway. glc
