Two things about Senator McCain's campaign fascinate me.

  1. 1. His campaign has recently complained about the media bias towards Senator Obama.
  2. 2. Senator McCain has consistently stated that he knows how to win a war, and has even called Senator Obama inexperienced.

So, why is that when Senator McCain completely got the facts wrong on the surge in Iraq, CBS News covered it up? Ironic, isn't it? jmj

Josh Childress yesterday signed with Greek club Olympiakos. What's the big deal? American born basketball players frequently play professionally overseas. But the vast majority do so strictly because they are not good enough to play in the NBA. Childress though, was no slouch. He averaged 30 minutes a game last year 12 points and 5 boards for the playoff bound Atlanta Hawks. He was a restricted free agent, meaning the Hawks had the right to match any offer he received. But international clubs aren't included in such a distinction. Could this be the beginning of a trend of mid-level NBA players accepting more money to play overseas? glc
