If the characters look familiar to you, it's because they were created by the men behind the Gorillaz, Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett. This is so bizarre that I'm speechless. Randy Pausch, he of Last Lecture fame, has passed away at the age of 47. He used the venue to give his young children what would amount to life lessons he wouldn't be around to share. Little did he know he would inspire millions. glc

"The lecture was for my kids, but if others are finding value in it, that is wonderful", Pausch wrote on his Web site. "But rest assured; I'm hardly unique."

A few high profile American deaths while fighting in the MIddle East have made headlines due to the questionable truths in regards to the nature of their passing, but it is the private life, lived by Major Alan G. Rogers', and what parts of it he would have wanted to become public knowledge that has become a point of contention among fellow soldiers, the media, and friends in light of the 18 year servicemens passing in the field of battle. A fascinating read left even more puzzling with no real conclusion. glc
