My Super Bowl Wish

| Comments (0)

The Philadelphia Eagles season officially came to an end this past Sunday, meaning that there will be no parade down Broad Street for the Birds, again. I wasn't too broken up, however. While I love the Eagles and root for them every Sunday, I've actually spent more time following the Hot Stove and the Phillies' arbitration issues.

So, for the 28th Super Bowl out of the 30 that have been played since I've been alive, I am without a team to root for. Again, this is nothing new.

What I am rooting for, however, is Peyton Manning commercials, and lots of them. The guy is pure comic genius and only gets better with experience. Since baking bruschetta for the Direct TV guy, Peyton has solidified himself as everyone's favorite spokesperson.

If I can't have my Eagles, the least I can ask for is a little Manning. And none of this Eli crap. All Peyton, all the time.

There's more where that came from. And if you're lucky, your Super Bowl will be enjoyable to watch, even if you're team didn't make it. Again.
