NJ State House

| | Comments (0)

My class took a trip to the New Jersey State House today, and were privy to seeing the Assembly Chamber, the Senate Chamber, the State House Annex, and the Senate Conference Room. The building is, indeed, beautiful.

The tour guide explained to the class that the Senate Conference Room is for members of the majority political party to discuss legislative agenda and policies. One student asked where the minority conference room is located.

It's in the basement. Nothing like letting minorities know exactly what you think of them. That made me laugh out loud to the point where I had to excuse myself from the room.
