I'm not one to excessively push a new band on someone (cough, cough), but this one is definitely worth a listen.

Yesterday, via twitter, I discovered an unsigned band out of Williamsburg, Brooklyn named Cavalier Rose. They are absolutely jaw-dropping. The best way I can describe them is a mix of the Cold War Kids and the Pixies with a twist of Jefferson Airplane, heavy on the Grace Slick.
